“I personally designed this mosque with a modern concept incorporating Japanese architectural elements on the roof. I was also directly involved in the construction process and fundraising efforts. I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone who contributed to the completion of this mosque,” Wiriatmoko stated in an official release received by Kompas.com on Friday.

A Harmonious Worship Space Overlooking the Lake

Masjid Alyauma Akmaltu is built on a 250-square-meter plot with a building area of 180 square meters, accommodating up to 100 worshippers.

According to Muhammad Akramullah, Promotion Department Head of Springhill Group, the lakefront location was deliberately chosen to provide convenience for both residents of Springhill Yume Lagoon and the surrounding community in performing their religious duties.

“The name ‘Alyauma Akmaltu’ means ‘Today I have perfected.’ We hope this mosque serves as a place where residents can strengthen their faith and religious values,” Akram stated.

He also highlighted the positive reception from the community, especially as the holy month of Ramadan approaches.

“Ramadan is a highly anticipated time for Muslims. With this mosque now available, we hope residents can worship in greater comfort,” he added.

Government Support for a Community-Focused Initiative

The construction of Masjid Alyauma Akmaltu has been well received by local government officials, who consider it a significant contribution from Springhill Group in providing religious facilities that benefit the wider community.

“This mosque is not only for Muslim residents of Springhill Yume Lagoon but also welcomes the surrounding community. Its presence is deeply meaningful for the people of Cisauk,” said Cisauk Subdistrict Head.
